Poupée de cire

My blog will be turning five in May, and I'm having a crisis. I keep posting twice a week, and asking myself: what's the point of sharing your life on the Internet? “Blogging is not rocket science, is about being yourself, and putting what you have into it” (Anonymous). That true: an average blogger opens up to the readers.

It's a mirror in which everyone can see you, like in the song Poupée de cire:
I'm a wax doll/A sound doll
My heart is engraved in my songs
Wax doll, sound doll (translation from lyrictranslate).
Tell stories, be true to yourself, give common sense advice… Millions of people would do it.

There is a reason I'm one of them. I was sad and isolated five years ago. Stay-at-home mothers often feel like that. Blogging had a positive impact on my life. It served as a personal journal, and made me realize that I have something to say. Maybe it makes sense, all the writing about your struggles and battles. Even if he readers don't leave comments.

Mój blog skończy pięć lat w maju a mnie dopadł kryzys.
