Not written novels/Nienapisane powieści

I sent my collection of short stories to an editor a couple of months ago. Recently I got an answer: “We are sorry, but…” Frustrated, I put the word: “submission” into Google Search. That’s how I came across Katarzyna Sikora’s blog. Katarzyna Sikora calls herself: “An author of many novels, not written yet”.

A debutant like me can find the blog interesting. The author of “Ruby fortress” reveals her experience: when it comes to writing and waiting (for publisher’s YES). Reading her blog, I arrived at conclusion that it’s extremely difficult for a debutant to get his book published.

Katarzyna Sikora’s “Ruby fortress” is still on the waiting list. Anyway, I sent my collection of short stories to four publishers via mail. I got an answer: “Our editors will read your manuscript. Please call us after a month”. Sure I will:)

Wysłałam mój zbiorek opowiadań do wydawnictwa parę miesięcy temu. Ostatnio otrzymałam odpowiedź: „Przykro nam, ale…” Zniechęcona, wpisałam słowo: „propozycja wydawnicza” do wyszukiwarki internetowej.
