Figures in front of a mirror/Figury przed lustrem

You know that feeling: I must share with the world what I discovered? „The active side of infinity” opened my eyes, metaphorically speaking. Carlos Castaneda describes a visit he made in a brothel. A chubby, well-aged prostitute made a show: figures in the front of the mirror. „Leg, leg, leg” - She spoke, kicking one leg. „Turn, turn, turn” and then „Butt, butt, butt...” His teacher, famous don Juan explained the impression it make on Carlos. Every person in the lifetime is doing nothing but parading around the mirror, in the best style in his opinion, just like in the song.

The old Indian helped me to realize why I was sitting so politely on the the bench with the ladies who droned about pasta with peas. Why the Chinese in the store is staring at his iPhone for hours, listening to stupid tunes. Don Juan noticed hat even if nobody said that, deep down we consider ourselves immortal. It's true, because otherwise our dead would be important, but it isn't. I think a lot about it, and I know what will look like. The moment when they would say that the cancer spreads to the bones, and nothing can be done, the mirror will finally show the true reflection. My friends from the bench instead of “a good, polite girl” will see the word: FREGATA (cheated). The same for the man from the store, it won't be “a model Chinese who knows how to count euro” but FREGATO (in the Chinese, of course).

The mirror is even more important as one can think. According to Jacques Lacan a child gets an identity in the moment of his contact with the reflection. But the mirror is not us. The mirror – just like our friends – it's someone else. Besides, you can see what you want to see: the good face: brave Chinese, respectable woman… There is another face – the angry one, just because all the life it has to be someone else! It's our toughest chore. I decided to tell everyone about the mirror. I started with G. “I should see a therapist!” - She said. Never mind, for once I want to tell what I think. Stay off the mirror.

Znasz to uczucie, kiedy musisz się podzielić odkryciem? “Aktywna strona nieskończoności” otworzyła moje oczy, mówiąc metaforycznie. Carlos Castaneda opisuje wizytę w burdelu. Grubawa, starsza prostytutka wykonywała numer: figury przed lustrem.

To przecież straszna katorga. Postanowiłam powiedzieć o tym lustrze wszystkim. Zaczęłam od szwagierki, wysłała mnie do psychologa:) Nie szkodzi jednak, chcę choć raz powiedzieć to co myślę. Odkleić się od lustra.
