16.Io posso amare

Usually one sachet contains only one tablespoon of sugar, but few days ago in the cafe I’ve found an interesting inscription on it. It read: “La vita e’ adesso” (life is happening now). I discovered a song of this title: “There is no better time than now Get up and go Life is happening now Life is happening all around Every morning there is a brand new chance to be who you want to be” – It says. To me it’s a bit cruel. Why, for the most of us life is about repeating the same things, and getting the same result. There is a story about a prisoner who said that the most fearful day of prison for any prisoner is the day before you are released and have your freedom back. “The prison bars had become so familiar that you don’t know how to live without them” – He added.

That’s the life, for so many of us: a matter of habit that you have created. You did it for a reason – it’s a cause of your habit. Considering that most of us, we’re doing the same things: wake up at the same time, eat the same breakfast, take the same route to work and so on, the reason might be… Being just like everybody else. „Lacan also believes that our desires are actually the desires of the others. Desires that we call our own are actually the constructed desires. Whatever we desire is actually the desire that is not our own but the desires of society, desires of our relations passed on to us.” - I read. What feels familiar seems real, and what is unfamiliar, can be frightening… That’s a good reason to miss the well-known prison, with the precious daily routine. After so many years behind the bars has the world outside become unfamiliar.

But our prisoner is wrong. This moment, isn’t good or bad. Technically it is both and it is neither. The problem isn’t the word outside the well known prison, but the fact that our mind tends to avoid this moment. We are depressed, because we are living in the past, or anxious when our thoughts are drifting somewhere in the future…Our awareness shapes the reality that we experience. „Believe that life is worth living and your belief will help create the fact.If you believe that feeling bad or worrying long enough will change a past or future event, then you are residing on another planet with a different reality system.” - William James wrote. That’s why „io posso amare la vita… Adesso” (I can love my life… Now).

Jeśli o mnie chodzi, to trochę okrutne.

Teraz).
