I
like meme photos my husband's colleagues are sharing at work - like
the one of laughing R. It says: “When they were trying vainly to
steal your car for the third time.” After the last attempt R. is
biking to work. He understood that leaving his new car in a parking
was bad idea. “Nobody is stupid here!” - Italians use to say.
V.'s
bikes got stolen seven times. A.'s apartment was robbed three times.
Bari has sort of reputation
and
at the beginning I felt a
bit
unsafe here. Then I lost my electronic card (I supposed it was
stolen) and got false 20€… Only
to learn that it's not the end of the world. After my “baptism” I
understood that the fear was much worse that the “crime” itself.
Besides,
things like that can happen even in “sleepy” Basilicata. A widow
realized that her house was robbed. Thieves searched for anything
valuable, but instead of leaving dresser drawers in total disarray,
they placed her clothes in bed, nice and tidy. Before disappearing
they left the stolen key in the commode. How brave:)
V.
siedem razy kradziono rowery. A. okradziono mieszkanie trzy razy.
Bari ma swoją reputację z początku niepewnie tu się czułam. Potem straciłam kartę do
bankomatu (myślę, że ją skradziono) i dostałam fałszywe 20 euro
reszty… I pojęłam, że to nie koniec świata. Ten “chrzest”
Mili ludzie:)
